Spin Bike

Spin Bike is a cycle shop located on the Canal Road on the left as you are coming from the city before the Night Safari junction. There’s a small row of shops about 50 meters before the traffic lights. The guys are all riders and organise a chaingang that sets out from the shop on Tuesdays & Thursdays (5pm). These rides are for serious roadies only as the speeds hit 40 to 50 kph.

Stock is mostly race bikes with a mix of road and mountain bikes plus a limited supply of spares. You’ll get Giant bikes here.

Usually open from 11am to about 7pm. Sometimes later in the morning as the guys sensibly prioritise their riding. Game is the mechanic – he’s one of the best local riders and can be seen at the Velodrome every Wednesday. Mechanics are competent.
